Simply put this is a site whereall of the different aspects of film (Director, Writer, Producer etc…) can join together to create new and exciting projects. connectfilm gives you the tools necessary to join with others who share the same passion, and work toward the ultimate goal: A truly collaborative work of art.

HOW IT WORKS:

Here at connectfilm everything is dependent on the user. When you create a profile you will have the ability to outfit it with work that you have done or are in the process of doing. This allows other members to see your portfolio which then intrigues them to interact with you, not only building solid working relationships, but also simultaneously creating a fuller portfolio for everyone involved.

With your content, your opinions and your willingness to help others there is nothing that you cannot achieve film-wise through connectfilm .

REGISTERING/CREATING A PROFILE:

1) When you first register you need to pick a profile type. (Example: If you are a Director then you would choose the Director profile type.)

2) Once you set up your profile you must upload some form of content (scripts, videos, photos etc…) within one week or your profile will be reviewed and possibly deleted. This is to ensure that people are actively using the site, and interacting with fellow filmmakers.

Immediately the community will have access to see your work and vote and comment on it. It works the same for you. If you see something you like you can vote or comment as well. Also by creating an account you have the ability to contact other users. So, if you see a movie you thought was amazing contact the director to see if they are interested in helping with your upcoming project. Need a script? No problem! Find a script writer and team up. Connectfilm makes sure that you have all the building blocks to create your masterpiece, but it’s up to you to use those resources.
